Magic

1122879_170×170.jpgThe Boss is on tour again, and I do not mean Nan. Since Bruce Springsteen released Born in the U.S.A in 1984 I have been a fan. And yesterday I downloaded his latest album “Magic” from iTunes, and I can safely say that the old man finally rocks again. You can read the Rolling Stone Magazine review of the Album here, and also listen to it.

I am listening to it right now, and this has got to be his best since “Born to Run” in 1975. After years of giving us a series of “Best Of” type albums, and a lot of boring stuff, that I got tired of after a week. He finally comes back and gives us the combination of pure rock and ballads that gives a fan something.

Wish I could go and see one of his concerts. He recently played in Norway, and extra concerts are set up for next summer. But as usual with Springsteen, tickets where gone in minutes. The last time I had the opportunity was in 1996 at the Point Depot in Dublin when he did his “Ghost of Tom Joad” tour.

Well, I’ll drive Nan insane by playing his latest release for days and weeks. luckily she likes good rock. Only reverting to chewing gum pop a la Britney Spears when doing the floors. That girl can dance up a storm while doing them. I have to sneak in a film session once when she is cleaning, he he.

Well, That’s it!

77.000 tickets sold for his two summer concerts here in Oslo in July 2008! One and a half hour it took…

And I agree on your “review” :) “Long walk home” and of course the top20 hit “Radio Nowhere” are great tunes!
