Crocodiles on the Run

I wrote earlier about the chance we may have of seeing a serious flood up here. But so far it has not materialized. But further down river in Korat, there is flooding right now.

And they just reported on Channel 7 news that 33 crocodiles have escaped from a crocodile farm in Korat during the floods. Well, it’s the same river that runs by our village up here. So if you don’t hear from me, I have become lunch.

Seriously I hope the beasts swim down river, and not up. Well, Korat is 2 hours drive from here.

Nan is forbidding the kids to go down to the river anyway becouse of the strong currents and high water, and little Heart (7) who loves fishing even more than me, can’t swim yet. Well thats something we’ll rectify once we get to a swimming pool.

Damn it was so nice to cool down in the river last march. Now I am going to wonder every time I go down there.
