A Boring Couple

We are really a boring couple me and Nan. We don’t really do much. Well apart from going trough the motions of everyday life in an Asian country.
Of course, after she arrived, she has been my only interest after work. And she is not much interested in exploring La-la land. Especially after dark, which is when we can be together. So we mostly just hang out at home. Sometimes we just talk, sometimes we just talk and cuddle, or watch TV, while we talk and/or cuddle.
All the talking and cuddling is now and then interrupted by her cooking something for us to eat, or I have to get up and “play computer” a little bit. Usually when what she wants to watch is so mind-numbingly boring that I can’t stand it.
Yesterday she watched female American style wrestling with Hindu comments. She had giggle fits as the two girls wen’t at each other, while commenting on breast sizes, and everything else she thought was funny. Mostly the funny bits was when bits of furniture where used to bash the contestants skulls in.
Today I only have a week left in this misfit of a country. It will be good to wave it goodbye, and I can’t wait for us to get back to Thailand, Isaan and the village and really make an attempt at settling in.
I want to finish the hut, drive the motocy and explore the area, go fishing, and simply enjoy being alive again. That will be outright sanuk.
Meanwhile me and Nan is learning tons about each other being cooped up like this. Well, that is a good thing. Oh well, there is the farewell party on Saturday. That should liven things up!

So I reckon we wont be hearin much from you after you head back to Isaan…..Well dont forget to shoot me your # I’ll be in Bangkok on the 16th,Then Cheing Mai 19th through the 24th then Sakhon Nakhon and Laos then I aint sure but I have to head back to this hell hole on the 30th. I have to head back to the states sometime, probably my next holliday so I wont be back in your neck of the woods for at least 8 months. Maybe we can atleast talk on the phone. How far is Kean Ken from you?
