Dead Tired

Last evening I fell asleep on the sofa while trying to find something entertaining in TV. No success. So off to dreamland. And that would normally be a good thing. Getting some much needed sleep. The problem it was about eight in the evening, and I woke up two hours later.
And that was all the sleep I got last night. So now I am sitting in my office, longing for my bed. My head feels like it’s filled with cotton, my eyes are feeling like someone has sandblasted them, and I have a nice little headache to boot.
Tomorrow is Saturday, but we work half day then, so it means I will have to get up early then as well. And tonight I will probably be so sleep depraved that I can’t sleep at all.
I actually hate those half days in the office on Saturday. Theoretically I could have flown out of here tomorrow, but the only flights are in the morning. So I have to wait until Sunday morning before I can get off this blasted place.
I was half playing with calling in sick, and just go. But I just know I going to get caught. So it’s not worth the trouble.
Over in Thailand, they have now broadcast flood warning for 15 provinces, including Buriram. There is a small river just 50 meters from Mae’s house, so I hope that one won’t break its banks. Well, they are a few meters above the river, so it should take a bit of flooding for them to be affected.
Last week there was a drought, now they expect flooding. I guess that’s just part of life there. Anyway, I am re-booking my car to a 4WD just to be on safe side. I wonder if they have any with a snorkel?
Tomorrow afternoon I am spending doing some bits of shopping for Nan. Some small presents for her and the kids, and I have to get a haircut as well. I have not shaved for a week either, so time to clean up before I take the jump across the bay to see Nan.
Yeah well, another I don’t want to stay here whinge. But That’s it!
