More About Colors

July 10, 2007 |

dsc01283.JPGNan is doing her best to confuse me about the hut these days. She is painting and have completed the ceiling, and started on the windows. But now I do not have a clue what colors she is using. When we where there, the inside walls where going to be egg-shell white, and the floors light blue. The outside walls where to be light green.

But now she is refusing to tell me what color she have chosen. She did however ask me what I think about having the house painted pink!

The rest is meant to be a surprise, and she is giggling her head of when I try to give her the 3rd degree to find out what colors will surround my life from now on.

So I have given up trying. All I know is that the stucco cement is now laid. And that they will finally start to lay the tiles tomorrow. I wonder what color they are, as those are included in the surprise factor as well.

Well it’s her house. And when it comes to what it will look like, should know better than trying to meddle in a woman’s sense of how things should be. I made the mistake of saying it was her house and blah blah…she answered in the tone she reserves for when I say something utterly stupid:

“Not my house, teerak. Our house, together!”

So she have laid down the law about whose house it is. Not hers, but ours. Well, as long as that last, I’ll count my blessings and let her do whatever she thinks looks good. I just hope she is not color blind!

Well, it will look a lot better than it did when last time I saw it. So what I am worried about is beyond me. But if anyone have any experience with an average thai girls taste in colors, please help me!

I am wishing hot pink inside and out for you and hopefully one of those late 60’s early 70’s white shag carpets.

The shag carpets sounds like a cool idea. But how do I tell that to Nan without her giggling her head off I don’t know.
