Make Up, Dress and Photos

It was 4am, when both our mobile phone alarms went off simultaneously. I managed to grab mine and switch it off. Nan was still sleeping so I tried to shake her awake. She finally came too, sat up in bed, yawned, smiled at me and promptly fell back onto her pillow again. She wanted more sleep.
But no mercy, we had an appointment at the beauty salon at 5 am. So I simply lifted her into my arms and carried her to the shower. Which made her wake up and she started giggling. So we had a quick bucket shower, and ate something, then into the car for the 10 minute drive into Phutthaisong.
On the way trough the village we picked up her very sleepy, 13 year old niece who was going to be bridesmaid.
We arrived exactly on time, and the ladies in the salon was ready for her. So she was ushered into a chair, while I was showed a sofa and told to sleep. Which I promptly did.
2 hours later I was woken up by a lady I had never seen before. But hey, that smile was familiar!
It was my turn now. Into the suit. And then we went upstairs for the photos. Which took another 10 minutes.
It was now time to return to the village and get the deed done. So into the car again. Nan received a phone call. More beer, Lao kaow and Sang Som was needed. So we stopped at a local shop. Nan staid in the car, while a very embarrassed niece was sent to help me. She was all made up like Nan.
The shopkeeper was quite amused by what entered her shop. A farang in a Thai suit, followed by a girl all made up. But we got what was needed and headed for the village. We where getting married!
