The airliner I have booked my ticket with had to reschedule all their flights out of here, so I had to re-book my ticket to Bangkok. So instead of arriving on the 3rd of June at 6.30am as planned, I will be arriving at 2.30pm on the 2nd instead. This will make it simpler for Nan, who is planning to meet me at the airport.

She can actually leave the house at the same time as me, and be there to meet me. Then we will drive our rented Toyota Vigo 4WD to somewhere outside Bangkok and stay for the night, and head for Korat the next morning. We plan to stay a overnight again in Korat before embarking on the final 2-3 hour leg up to Putthaisong and her village.

Now if anyone have a good suggestion for a place to spend the night on the Isaan side of Bangkok then please give us a sugestion as we don’t have a clue. It does not have to be posh and have a fantastic nightlife. Just nice, clean hotel and easy to find. Both of us will be too tired to do much anyway
