A New Start

Hi there,
We are Nan and Rune. We are an Isaan Thai and Norwegian couple who are going trough life separated by an ocean. Now I could go all deep and analytic on you, and lay out all the problems and cultural mish mash that can exist between couples like us. But that is not my style.
Instead I’ll just continue to do what I have been doing in my old blog, “Will Be There - The Ups and Downs of Being in Love with a Thai Girl”. Now you can of course visit that site and you will instantly now that something is not right in my head. Or you can just read most of the blog entries from there right here in this blog.
The reason for the move and the name change was that I wanted to make my blog, into our blog. Mine and Nan’s. She is my girl friend from Isaan in Thailand and is extremely beautiful, smart and sexy (she will read this).
We met only 3 months ago, and right now we have this love thing going on, and it’s getting more serious by the day. We plan to shack up together in her Isaan village from September on, when we will no longer be separated by an ocean. At least for a while.
Even farangs of the “ting tong” variety like me will one day realise that the bank account is dangerously close to zero. Something that means that I will have to venture out in the world and work again. But I will no doubt tell you all about that when it happens.
For now, enjoy the story of our life.

Well, it looks as if I was quick enough to have the honor of making the first comment on this new blog…I think it’s a great new direction. Although I have to admit I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the title of the last blog on the old site.

Anyway, I had to take a field trip, will be gone for a week, and no time to update the blog.
