Falling Again

I think I may have found a Gem. She is quite a girl, and I like her to much. Unfortunately I only got a few days with her, but what a super time that was. And she ain’t Pam.Well, I did meet Pam on my first day in Bangkok. But we did not quite find the tone. I wont even try to explain it, but the spark, at least for me was not there. So after a couple of days of sight seeing in Bangkok, sitting around in restaurants and having my ears blasted off in some disco, I decided to cut my losses and head “home”, to Pattaya. Sorry to disappoint those of you that was hoping I was going to clear up my act, and start dating “real” girls.
 With me installed in my natural habitat, I soon found my way to my favourite bar. The one I met “Lek” in a back in july 2006. Had a few drinks, chatted with some friends and had a good time. And after fooling around in Pattaya for a couple of days I met Nan in a bar. We clicked allomost imediately, and the remainder of my trip was spent with her.
Nan is from Buri Ram and I really cant compare her to anyone I have met before. Not stunningly beautiful, but cute enough. And a very nice personality. We joked and had fun from the first second we met. And I had a very good time with her for the rest of my trip.
So here is a bit more about her:
Her English is well… good enough to throw a few jokes, she likes to “listen music”, does not like discos, night clubs and karaoke bars, can walk more than 50 meters without complaining, can walk past a gold shop without so much as a hint of entering “just to look, look, teerak”.
Indeed she preferred to walk home, after a night out, rather than take a baht bus or a motorcycle taxi. I took her to a shopping mall to look for some stuff I needed, and told her if she saw something she liked, she was more than welcome to it. She was actually so shy about shopping for herself, that I almost had to push her in the direction of the girlie stuff, and she ended up picking out a 75 baht T-shirt, and was happy as a kitten when I assured her that yes, it was perfectly okay.
Actually a few days later, on another shopping trip, she did eventually pick out some 500 baht worth of presents for some kids in her family. But insisted that she pay for it herself. But me being me, I would have none of that.
Another thing about her. She actually know how to save money. That money is going into her education fund. One afternoon, she proudly presented her bank book to me. And was very eager to show me how much she had saved, and there where regular deposits of small amounts of baht. Nan has 6 years in school, but always dreamed about getting more education. But life has not yet offered that opportunity to her. Her story is so similar to other girls gravitating towards Pattaya so will spare you from that story. She has been trough a lot.
When in Thailand I like to start the nights early, and usually around 1 pm I am in bed. Me and Nan spent hours pillow talking. We would wake up in the morning and simply continue chatting where we left off in the morning, until hunger drove us out of bed in search of some food. Nan is not a big eater. She can actually manage a whole afternoon without it, and much to my delight, can’t stand fried bugs.
Basically I like her a lot. Had a very good time with her, but alas to short. So in the end I did it again. Nan has stopped working bar. And unlike Lek, who I never could persuade to leave Pattaya, Nan is now at home with her mom in Buri Ram.
We have agreed that we continue where we left off when I come back, and then see what happens. No promises made, other than that she will remain at home, and I will come back to stay with her for another trip. She is quite unsure if I really will. She think she is to old for me, and not beautiful (she is 33, and cute as hell), and a few farang dickheads have promised her they will come back before, never to be heard from again. But I intend to get my ass back to her as soon as I can, which will be in 4 weeks.
So thats it for now. Will see if I can manage to get in a few more stories about me, Nan and her very fun personality in the weeks to come. We really did have quite many funny moments so stay tuned

Well, the Pam phase is over, so wont be writing much more about her. Nan on the other hand will appear here often enough in the time to come
And now tickets and hotel is booked. When I told Nan she sounded like a very happy camper, so I guess the story continues…
Will I ever learn!

Ya know its funny,I keep getting razed by all these guys who have been married 3~4 times,I listen to all these stories of all these guys wives taking them for all the money they have been making here…….MAN,GO FOR IT,just dont be stupid about it,thats all I got to say.Im still working here just so I can keep going back to Thailand,LOL.
